- 1.5 Hour clinic with the UNLV Cheer & Dance Team

CLINIC
• Date/Time: October 24th 10:30AM-12:30PM
• Location: Fertitta Football Complex (https://www.unlv.edu/maps/campus/FFC)
• Team Check in will begin at 10:00AM at the practice football field
• Additional information will be sent with registration confirmation
• On campus parking, no ticketing on weekends

WAIVER
• All participants must have a completed and signed waiver in order to participate
• Bring ALL completed waivers to the practice at check in
ROUTINE B DETAILS (FOR CHEER TEAMS)
For the cheer portion of the routine (routine 2), here is following order of skills from the video:
1. 5 eight counts of dance choreography
2. 1.5 eight counts of transition to a jump formation (formation movement optional)
3. Jump clap is on 5 to hit the jump on the following 2
4. Shake poms on 7 after the jump and put them down on 1 to move to stunt section.
5. Following the jump is 1 eight count of transition to stunts
6. Stunts set on 1 and you have 4 eight counts (including dismount) to build any stunting skills that are within your teams skill level/range
7. Following the stunt section, the last 1.5 eight count transition happens on 1 after their dismount back to a dance formation.
8. All teams will hit the ending high V motion on 1 and clean on 5 to reset for the next routine.
The order listed above is a suggested order of skills following the jump. After the jump section, all teams have the freedom to freestyle the remainder of the second dance section. Teams that will not use poms can rally during the moments teams are dropping/picking poms up. All teams must hit the ending high V motion on the last 1.
